For regions

Knowing where to direct road-safety investment first

ŘSD and the Czech Police publish their data openly. But without significant processing it's hard to use them at the regional level — and segments may end up on the repair plan based on which inputs happen to be ready, not based on actual impact. The platform unifies the data into a single foundation: segments ranked by objective metrics, a clear map for councillors and mayors, and an export straight into your systems.

The implementing decree to Section 18m of Act No. 13/1997 Coll. (§18m zákona č. 13/1997 Sb.) gives regions a tool for safety classification — we have it computed across the entire ŘSD network and we can render every segment in a single colour.

A repair plan backed by numbers

Segments ranked by H — social cost in CZK or by the road safety index. A list that answers the question of where each invested crown delivers the greatest effect. CSV export with ŘSD identifiers — connecting to your GIS or repair-tracking system is straightforward.

02

Seasonal measures targeted by data

For each segment, 12 combinations (temperature × precipitation × day/night) show under which conditions risk rises markedly. A foundation for decisions on seasonal signage, earlier deployment of road treatment, or installation of variable message signs — targeted measures where the data show real impact.

A shared foundation for everyone involved

The same map for the region, municipalities, the Czech Police, and ŘSD — colours per the implementing decree to §18m, not per each organisation's internal methodology. It removes unproductive disputes about whose numbers are right. The methodology is fully public; the calculation can be independently verified by anyone.

04

A specific accident on a specific segment

When a risky intersection is being discussed at a council meeting, a concrete list of accidents with date, type, and cause is a stronger argument than aggregate numbers. Click a point and the accident detail appears; the ŘSD identifier links straight to the segment.

Questions

What we hear most often

Can it run on our data?
The platform runs on open Czech Police and ŘSD data for the entire country. Your own data is not loaded into the application — instead, you consume the outputs: via the browser, CSV export, or REST API. Linking to your systems happens on your side — you attach your internal layers to the ŘSD segment identifier.
What data do you need from us?
None. The platform contains all the open sources internally (Czech Police, ŘSD, CDV, weather data) and accepts no user input. You consume the outputs via the browser, CSV export, or REST API.
How often is it updated?
Czech Police data is published roughly a month after the end of the calendar month. I run the pipeline manually after each publication — the output in the application and via the REST API updates shortly after. The date of the last update is visible in the application.
